SSA Introducing Electronic Protective Filing Tool for SSI

SSA has announced the upcoming launch of an electronic Protective Filing Tool (ePFT) for people who wish to apply for SSI and third parties that assist them.

SSA has requested emergency approval of the system from the Office of Management and Budget to launch the tool.
